The FIFA World Cup 2022 has concluded. The greatest footballer of all time, Lionel Messi, has won the FIFA World Cup. Football’s best son has been awarded the best footballing accolade. Argentina is the champion. France and Argentina had one of the greatest football matches. Kylian Mbappe was exceptional. This tournament was one hell of a ride. The FIFA World Cup 2022 can go down as one of the best World Cups to be ever played. It was a fairy tale. But who won the “Golden Glove”, the “Golden Ball”, and the “Golden Boot”? Here is a look at all the winners from the FIFA World Cup 2022:  

Argentina wins the FIFA World Cup 2022: 

Here is the list of Argentina players who have been crowned as champions. They have all played as a unit to fulfill the wish of their idol Lionel Messi. All of them were in tears after the victory.

Lionel Messi won the “Golden Ball” in the FIFA World Cup 2022: 

Lionel Messi was expected to win the “Golden Ball” which was awarded to the “Most Valuable Player” in the tournament. Luka Modric won the award in the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The FIFA World Cup 2022 saw Messi in a different avatar. He wasn’t dominating the entire game but was scene is small bursts. But each of these bursts was very impactful. He was the one who scored the penalties for them in all the games. It was a well-deserved award for the greatest player of all time. He ended with 7 goals and 3 assists in the tournament. 

Kylian Mbappe won the “Golden Boot” for Most Goals:

Kylian Mbappe won the “Golden Boot” for scoring the most goals. He ended the tournament with 8 goals to his name. He is only the 5th player in the history of the sport to score a hat-trick in the FIFA World Cup Final. He had an immense impact on the tournament. Seeing him on the losing side in the final was a shame.  

Emiliano Martinez won the “Golden Glove” in the FIFA World Cup 2022:

Emiliano Martinez won the “Golden Glove” for being the best goalkeeper in the tournament. Martinez was the hero for Argentina in the quarter-finals against the Netherlands when the game went into penalties. He was also their hero in the finals. He made an excellent save in the dying minutes of extra time. Further, when the game went into penalties, he stopped Kingsley Coman’s penalty. Dominik Livakovic from Croatia was the other contender for this trophy but Emi won it.  

Enzo Fernandez won the “Young Player of the Tournament” :

Enzo won the award for being the best young player in the tournament. He was elite in the mid-field for Argentina. The young man made an exquisite tackle in the final. It was a clearance that helped Argentina stay in the game. His pace and motion were difficult for the opposition to match. The other contenders for this award were Tchouameni from France and Jude Bellingham from England.
