TATA IPL Auction

The TATA IPL Auction takes place on December 23. The players and the entire cricket community are all excited about this event. The best of the cricketers will be available. Over the years, we have seen Kieron Pollard, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, and even Ben Stokes take home a bag full of money. Ishan Kishan was the highest bidder in the TATA IPL 20233 Mega Auction. So, who are the possible high-value players in the TATA IPL Auction 2023? Here is a look:

Rilee Rossouw:

Rilee was mighty impressive in the South Africa Tour of India 2022. This is what will certainly work in his favor. His hundred in the 2nd T20I was a class apart. He was timing the ball like no other batter. Rilee has improved his skill after the Kolpak deal. He has previously been a part of the IPL where he was associated with the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Rossouw will either go under the scanner and some team will make a steal but if he is evident, then all teams are going after him. Teams like the Titans who need top-order batters will go for him in the TATA IPL Auction.

Mayank Agarwal can be Highest Bid at the TATA IPL Auction 2023:

The Kolkata Knight Riders need an Indian opener. They tried to bring Agarwal into their squad into the transfer window but that did not work for them. They have dropped Ajinkya Rahane which means that they might just try a little too hard for Mayank. Even the Lucknow Super Giants are looking to replace Manish Pandey, so even they can go for Mayank. Mayank is the best player of spin in the Indian circuit. If anyone comes close it has to be Hardik Pandya. So, Mayank will be in demand and this will help him get the big bucks in the TATA IPL Auction.

Cameron Green:

The Delhi Capitals looks very interested in this exciting prospect from Australia. This tall Australian all-rounder has a lot to offer to world cricket. Australia was looking for a replacement for Shane Watson, and they have got exactly that in the form of Cameron Green. Speaking about T20s, he is an effective opener. Any team looking for an opener can go for him. The list includes the name of the Titans, the Super Kings, and even the Sunrisers. He is a bank of 3 to 4 overs every game. He will get a big cheque in the TATA IPL Auction.

Ben Stokes can be Highest Bid at the TATA IPL Auction:

Ben Stokes needs no introduction. He has been the biggest match-winner in the last decade. When the going gets tough, only the tough get going and Ben is hella tough. His notable performances at the international stage include the Headingly Test match, the ICC ODI World Cup final, and the 5-wicket haul against the West Indies. He will be back in the auction after 2 long years. Stokes was absent last year as he was on a break from the sport.

He is the first player to effectively address the stress and mental pressure that cricket players have. Teams who need an all-rounder will pick him. The Mumbai Indians who are looking to replace Pollard can go for him. Even the Chennai Super Kings who are looking for a leader in the absence of Dhoni can go for him. The same applies to the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Sam Curran can be Highest Bid in the TATA IPL Auction:

Sam Curran is a class apart. He brings a left-arm pace with finishing skills. His 90+ score against India at Ahmedabad gives us a lot of detail about his batting ability. He is not just a number 8 batter but an effective number 7 finisher or even an opener. The CSK management did try to promote him as an opener. He can give the team 4 good overs of bowling. His in-swinging delivery is a lethal weapon to use against a right-hand batter. He will make good use of the cold conditions in the north. Teams like the Rajasthan Royals, who have let go of all their all-rounders can go for him.
