WPL 2023: Power Hitters Sophia Dunkley, Harleen Deol’s fifties take Gujarat Giants to 201/7 against RCB: In the sixth match of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023, Gujarat Giants will face Royal Challengers Bangalore. Both the teams will meet at the Brabourne Stadium on Wednesday, March 8. Gujarat won the toss and decided to bat, then understanding the compatibility of the pitch, Gujarat’s two star batsmen scored maximum runs for the team by jamming fours and sixes.
Harleen Deol
Harleen Deol is a top-order batsman and also bowls off-spin. She has represented the Indian team in both One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I). In his short career, she played some important innings for the team, in which the first session of the WPL tournament in the T20 league is seen looking big shots on Women’s Day against RCB in Six. Sophia is a right handed batsman. Sofia has been seen as a match-winner for the team in her career and today she has maintained her presence in the WPL. Sofia’s all-round ability along with valuable innings for Gujarat Giants helped the team score a quick 65 off the first 28 balls. Which included 11 fours and 3 sixes. Today in Gujarat Giants team Sophia and Harleen both players scored half century and played a vital role in making respectable total for the team
