What CSK’s CEO Kasi Vishwanathan said on MS Dhoni Retirement, Will Dhoni play IPL 2024 or not?: IPL 2023 Ended on a positive note for the CSK fans as Chennai won their fifth IPL trophy after defeating Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2023 Final on May 30th by five wickets.

There are lots of questions arising about Dhoni’s Retirement, and in response to it, Chennai Super Kings CEO Kasi Vishwanathan said that “Dhoni himself has told whether he will be playing or not in the next IPL Season, and I welcome it.”

While having Chat with Harsh Bhogle during the IPL 2023 finals Post Match Conference, MS Dhoni said, “This is the best time to announce my retirement as it is tough to train yourself for another season and went through training and prepare for nine months, but the love and support I got from the crowd and the supporters that’s pulls me to play another season.

“The tears in my eyes when I was seated in the dugout, and People were chanting my names was an honour for me. If my body allows me to play another season, then I will definitely come and play, but there are 6-7 months left to decide whether I have to play or not.”

How did CSK win the IPL 2023 Finals?

Due to Bad weather, The IPL 2023 Final has shifted from May 28th to May 29th(Reserve Day). Then On May 29th, CSK won the Toss and bowled first, whereas Gujarat Titans came to bat and, with the help of Sai Sudharsan’s Stormy inning of 96 runs and Hardik Pandya’s quick 22 runs, led GT to 214 runs.

After the First Inning, Rain strikes again in Ahmedabad and delayed the Game two hours more. Hence Game Started at 12:10 am (May 20th), and Chennai needed 171 runs to win the trophy in 15 overs. Devon Conway’s 47 runs and Jadeja’s magnificent finishing led Chennai Super Kings to lift the trophy for the fifth time.
