Rishabh Pant, the swashbuckling left-handed batter from the Delhi Capitals, has met with an unfortunate accident. He has injured his back and his forehead, and he has some other minor injuries too. The batter Rishabh Pant can be replaced by any other player. But in the captain’s place, we can go for David Warner. The veteran has been there and done that. He has won the IPL with the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Unfortunately, he had a fallout with that franchise as he was a true asset to them. David Warner can certainly replace Rishabh Pant. Manish Pandey can Replace Rishabh Pant:
Manish Pandey is also a good choice. Pandey had captained the Sunrisers for the two games where they had a fallout with Warner and Williamson was injured. Manish is an exceptional captain. Under his leadership, the Karnataka Cricket Association has groomed an amazing crop of players. Manish has groomed players like Mayank Agarwal, Prasidh Krishna, Karun Nair, and Shreyas Gopal. He can be trusted as a leader because he has been a part of multiple IPL teams as well.
Mitchell Marsh:
Mitchell Marsh has played cricket all over the globe. He has been a part of many T20 leagues as well. With that being said, we can affirm that he has played under many leaders and has learned something from each of them. He has played under Michael Clark and Steve Smith too. He has also played under the leadership of Aaron Finch. He might have learned a lot from these captains. His experience makes his case very strong. However, he is generally prone to injury so there can be a possibility that he may not get through the tournament. He has many skills to bring to the table too.
