TATA IPL 2024: Is the Mumbai Indians right decision to take back Hardik Pandya as captain?: The IPL 2024 season 17 has witnessed numerous peculiar incidents from the auction until the commencement of the tournament.

Before starts the IPL 2024 match, many key players from all teams sustained serious injuries. Speculations arose that they might not be fit to play, but many players were still seen participating for their respective teams.

Chennai Super Kings appointed Ruturaj Gaikwad as their new captain just before the match, and the team has been performing exceptionally well under his leadership.

The famous Mumbai Indians, who have won the IPL title 5 times, had consistently performed well under the captaincy of former captain Rohit Sharma. However, MI fans are questioning this decision.

The decision to remove Rohit Sharma from the captaincy and reinstate Hardik Pandya as the captain of the team raises concerns, especially considering that they haven’t won a single match under Pandya’s leadership so far.

Upon his return, senior players seem to be struggling to maintain proper coordination with their coaches. Moreover, MI suffered a defeat in their first match by 6 wickets on March 24 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad against Gujarat Titans.

They faced another setback in their second match, losing by 31 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 27 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. A video of Captain Pandya’s interaction with bowling coach Lasith Malinga on the ground after the defeat to SRH depicted a lack of respect, which garnered attention in the media.
