Rajasthan Royals Captain Sanju Samson: “I believe the total was within our grasp. A rate of 12 runs per over on this pitch was achievable, but that’s the unpredictable nature of the IPL. We felt that 220 was about 10 runs too many.
We managed to regain some control but conceded a few too many runs towards the end.”We’ve lost three very close games now. The key for us is to continue making slight adjustments. There’s hardly any downtime in this tournament.

Kuldeep Yadav | Player of the Match: “Bowling a good length is crucial, especially during the death overs. Having played against Ferreira in South Africa, I knew he favored the back foot. I aimed to keep my deliveries full and quick, which worked as I got him out on the first ball.
I also threw in a couple of seam-up deliveries to gauge the batters’ responses. It’s all about the length, and sticking to that was my plan. Scoring over 200 puts pressure on bowlers but also presents opportunities for wickets, and I focused on playing to my strengths and maintaining belief.”
