IPL Points Table 2024: Chennai Super Kings won their second match of TATA IPL 2024 after defeating Gujarat Titans by 63 runs at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. This was CSK’s second consecutive win in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 and now, they move to the top position in the latest IPL Points Table 2024 with four points. However, Gujarat Titans, who were previously in the third spot but now, they slipped to the sixth position with two points and a poor net run rate of -1.425.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) played exceptional cricket in their second match of this tournament against Gujarat Titans. Skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shivam Dube played exceptional innings of 51 and 46 runs, respectively however Shivam Dube played a stormy inning at a fantastic strike rate of 221.74. CSK bowlers also did a wonderful job in this match and led CSK to their second victory of the season.
Gujarat Titans, who played fantastic cricket against Mumbai Indians in their last match but they failed to carry on the same momentum against Chennai Super Kings. GT bowlers leaked lots of runs on the bowling-friendly wicket of Chepauk Stadium, Rashid Khan gave around 49 runs in his four overs spell whereas batters also played poor cricket and failed to chase such a massive target of 207.
