He had a base price of 2 crore, and There was a good battle between RCB and SRH for Cummins. However, Sunrisers Hyderabad got him at the highest price.
Pat Cummins is known for his Pace bowling and also for leading the Australian team in all formats. He was the skipper of the Australia Team in the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023. Previously, Cummins was part of the Kolkata Knight Riders, and now, he has become the most expensive player in IPL History.
Sunrisers Hyderabad also bought Wanindu Hasaranga for 1.50 crore; it was a good pick by SRH; however, they spent lots of money in the starting two sets.
Chennai Super Kings bought three players in set 2, which are all-rounders; they took Shardul Thakur and Rachin Ravindra in their squad for four crore and 1.80 crore, respectively. CSK got both the players at a fair price, especially Shardul Thakur, who will get them a lot more value in the middle order with both bat and ball.
