IPL 2023: PBKS won the match against CSK by four wickets, this match went to the last ball as PBKS needs three runs on the last ball, and Sikandar Raza did it by playing a shot over the leg side.

Liam Livingstone played a crucial inning and knocked 40 runs, this inning by him set up the stage for the finishers to finish the game and Jitesh Sharma and Sikandar Raza led PBKS win the match.

At the end, PBKS won:

Skipper Shikhar Dhawan and Prabhsimran Singh both opened for PBKS and made a partnership of 50 runs. They try to score as many runs as they can in the powerplay, but their skipper got out by scoring 28 runs at a strike rate of 186.67, whereas Prabhsimran knocked 42 runs in 24 balls with four fours and two sixes.

In the Middle overs, Liam Livingstone and Sam Curran both made important partnerships for the fifth wicket and scored 40 and 29 runs, respectively. Jitesh Sharma played an impactful inning and scored 21 runs in 10 balls. Sikandar Raza finished the match, and PBKS won by four wickets.

In the second Inning, Tushar Deshpande took three wickets and now got the purple cap, but he gave 49 runs in four overs which is quite bad. Ravindra Jadeja gave a crucial breakthrough in the middle overs and took two wickets, whereas Matheesha Pathirana took one wicket.

Conway helped CSK to get 200 runs on board:

In this Match, Devon Conway and Rututraj Gaikwad built a partnership of 86 runs for the 1st wicket, and They played with a good strike, especially Devon Conway, who knocked 92 runs with a good strike rate of 176.92.

Ruturaj has scored 37 runs in 31 balls. Shivam Dube again comes in an aggressive mood as he started hitting the boundaries but this time got out by scoring 28 runs, whereas MS Dhoni came to bat in the last over and also smashed two sixes.

PBKS performed poorly:

In the first inning, Punjab Kings lost momentum as their bowlers kept giving runs and didn’t take wickets in the powerplay. Arshdeep Singh and Rahul Chahar bowled exceptionally well, gave fewer runs than other bowlers, and took one wicket each.

Sikandar Raza and Sam Curran also took one wicket each but gave 31 and 46 runs, respectively.
