ICC WTC Points Table 2024, India moves to 2nd Position After IND vs ENG 2nd Test | ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 Standings: Team India won the 2nd Test match by 106 runs. England lost the 2nd Test match by 106 runs at ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam. Jasprit Bumrah got the man of the match award for his outstanding performance with the ball in both innings of the match. He took 6 wickets in the first innings and 3 wickets in the second innings. India moved to 2nd spot on the WTC points table 2023-25 after winning the 2nd Test match. 

Both the Teams played outstanding cricket in the 2nd Test Match. Poor performance by England’s batter led them to defeat in the match. Zak Crawley played outstanding in both the innings of the match he scored 76 runs in 1st innings and 73 runs in 2nd Test innings. Poor Team selection by Ben Stokes led them to defeat in the 2nd Test match. England got all out on 253 runs in 1st innings while in 2nd innings England got all out on 292 runs. Ollie Pope played poorly in the 2nd Test match after performing outstandingly in the 1st Test match.

Yashasvi Jaiswal scored his maiden Test double hundred. He played an innings of 209 runs in 1st innings of the match in just 290 balls with 19 fours and 7 sixes. After consecutive failures in recent matches Shubman Gill returned to his form after hitting a wonderful hundred in the 2nd innings of the match.

In the latest WTC 2023-25 Points Table, India has moved to the 2nd spot, securing 38 points in 6 matches with a winning percentage of 52.77%. Australia is leading with a winning percentage of 55.00%. Team England stands at 8th spot on the points table with 21 points in 7 matches with a winning percentage of 25%.

New Zealand vs South Africa 1st Test 2024:

New Zealand scored 511 runs in 1st innings of the Test match against South Africa at Bay Oval. Rachin Ravindra scored his maiden test double hundred. He scored 240 runs in just 366 balls with 26 fours and 3 sixes. Kane Williamson also scored his 30th Test hundred. He scored 5 centuries in his last 9 Test innings for New Zealand. Debutante Neil Brand took 6 wickets in his first Test match. After the end of Day 2, South Africa was on 80 runs for the loss of 4 wickets.
