WPL 2024: Bengaluru & Delhi are Expected to Host WPL 2024 Matches in different sets- Reports: As per the latest Reports, Bengaluru and Delhi are the two venues that will most likely host the second season of Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has shortlisted both teams to conduct the games of the WPL 2024.

The WPL 2024 will be held in two sets and the first set of matches of the Women’s Premier League are expected to be played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru whereas the second set includes the knockout stage games will be held at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. It will be pretty exciting to watch the Women’s domestic league of India where all national and international players will participate.

As per the media reports, The WPL 2024 is expected to be played between February 22 to March 17, 2024. However, the Dates and Venues of the Women’s Premier League 2024 are yet to be announced by BCCI so, there is still some chance that changes can happen. Most Probably, WPL will start in February and it will end in March, a few days before IPL 2024.

This year IPL will be held quite early due to the Central Elections during the regular IPL season timing so the BCCI is planning to conduct it a little earlier and it is almost confirmed that the whole tournament will be played outside India. Most Probably, UAE and Dubai will host all the matches of the Indian Premier League 2024.

All the matches of the last edition of the Women’s Premier League were held in Mumbai, however, BCCI was planning to host the upcoming tournament at different venues but this year it will be held at two different venues only. There will be a total of 22 matches played between five teams in WPL 2024 including the two knockout games.

WPL 2024, Who have highest chance to win the upcoming edition?

Mumbai Indians is the Defending Champion of the Women’s Premier League as they won the WPL 2023 Final against Delhi Capitals by seven wickets at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Harmanpreet Kaur will be captaining the Mumbai Indians in the upcoming edition And they are expected to win another season of Women’s Premier League.
