The Vijay Hazare Trophy is a 50-over domestic one-day cricket tournament in India. It is administered by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and is named after the legendary Indian cricketer Vijay Hazare.
The tournament dates back to 2002-03, which was started to provide an opportunity for Indian players to play in the longer white-ball format. Teams from different zones across all parts of India ensured the search for cricketing talent in the nation. Vidarbha and Karnataka have made it to the finals of this Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2024-25.
Like many other tournaments, now it includes state teams from all parts of India, while the tournament is divided into group stage matches and knockout games for the ultimate champions to clash off in the finals.
