IND vs NZ 1st T20I: The New Zealand tour of India was to consist of two ODI and T20I series. In the first ODI series, India defeated the Kiwis 3–0, in which the Indian batting and bowling played an important role. Today, Tuesday, January 27, 2023, the first match of the second series is being played between India and New Zealand in Ranchi. Hardik Pandya, the Indian T20I team captain, chose to bowl and invited the Kiwi team to bat.

First Innings Highlight:

The new Zealand batting line-up was the best batting of a few batsmen, with the help of which India scored 176 for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. After scoring 35 runs in 23 balls, Finn Allen was caught out on the ball of Washington Sundar. Mark Chapman came in as the second batsman but his bat did not work and he got duck out.

Glenn Phillips was caught out by Kuldeep Yadav after scoring 17 runs. The best batting in the Kiwi team was seen by two batsmen, in which Devon Conway and Daryl Mitchell both batsmen made a big total of 111 runs for team, in which Devon scored 52 runs in 35 bowls, Indian pacer Arshdeep Singh was dismissed with the bowl but Mitchell 59 Runs at 196.66 run rate played an unbeaten innings on 30 bowls.

Secound Innings Highlight: In the second innings, the opening pair of the Indian batting, Shubman Gill and Ishaan Kishan, these two batsmen did not work in T20I, only two batsmen among the Indian batsmen who performed well in Ranchi ground, in which Suryakumar scored 47 runs in 34 balls, which was the best. Washington Sundar scored an unbeaten 50 off 28 balls and managed to score a half-century as India’s total was 155-9 (20 Ovs). Team India lost the first T20I match against New Zealand by 21 runs at Ranchi Stadium.
