Pakistan’s Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi to Receive Bumper Pay Hike ahead of ICC ODI World Cup 2023: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set to hike the salary of the Pakistan Men’s Team to offer more attractive deals to players before the World Cup 2023.

This year PCB will earn huge money from the Sponsors and Media Rights of the Asia Cup 2023, World Cup 2023, and Asian Games 2023. India vs Pakistan matches in Asia Cup, World Cup, and Asian Games increase the value of Pakistan’s Media Rights.

Star players of Pakistan like Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Mohammad Rizwan will earn crores after Salary hikes. PCB increased the salary of List A players by four times from their Previous contract salary.

A few days ago, PCB decided to pay equal salaries to both Men’s and Women’s Players of the Pakistan Team as per the new salary contract.  As per the new salary contract, Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Mohammad Rizwan will earn PKR 4.5 million/month ($ 15,900 approx), which is four times the previous salary.

This decision from PCB will increase the morale of Pakistan’s players in getting a salary like other international players get from their respective boards. List B players of Pakistan Men’s Cricket will earn PKR 3 million($10,600 approx) as a monthly salary from the PCB as per the new contract.

Players like Imad Wasim, Shabad Khan, Imam-ul Haq, and Fakhar Zaman will earn four times from their previous salary from the PCB. PCB took this decision after Pakistan’s economic crisis was going on in Pakistan, which depreciated Pakistan’s Rupee.

Virat Kohli vs Babar Azam Income per match:

The income of Virat Kohi is Rs 40 Lakhs per month from BCCI, While Babar Azam will get Rs 14 Lakhs per month. The annual Salary of Virat Kohli from BCCI is Rs 7.5 cr, While Babar Azam earns Rs 1.5 cr from PCB.
