Former India captain Dhoni, who has a trophy-laden career, was playing in the IPL 2023 with an injured left knee. But the 41-year-old Captain Cool participated in each and every game of Chennai Super Kings and Always tried to entertain Yellow Brigade Fans by playing their best possible match.

CSK CEO Viswanathan gave an important update regarding Dhoni’s knee injury; He Said: “The former India captain would seek medical advice before deciding whether to continue playing for Chennai next season.”
“Yes, it is true that Dhoni will take medical advice for his left knee injury and accordingly decide. If surgery is advised, it can only be done after reports come out; it will be completely his call,” CSK CEO to PTI.
In the Final Match, MS Dhoni completed his 250th IPL appearance. During the final match between CSK and GT at the Narendra Modi Stadium, he became the first Indian player to complete 300 dismissals by doing the lightning-speed stumping of Shubman Gill and sending him into the Pavillion.
Dhoni had played the entire IPL season with a heavily strapped left knee, but he looked absolutely okay while keeping and also wasn’t running between the wickets as fast as he is known. After leading the side to their fifth IPL title, though, Dhoni had said he would return for one more season for the fans if his body allowed it.
MS Dhoni Surgery was Successfully done, and he will be discharged within 1 or 2 days, he will be resting for a few days, and then his rehab starts. It’s now expected that he will have enough time to get fully fit for IPL 2024. [PTI]
