Lucknow Super Giants Captain KL Rahul: "The wickets stay pretty consistent throughout the 40 overs. Getting Jake out in the first over gave us a strong start, but this season has been tough with players coming in hard even after losing wickets. Shai Hope and Porel took the momentum away from us, though we managed well at the back end.
I believe 200 was a par score, and we should have chased it down.Our main issue this season has been losing too many wickets in the powerplay, preventing us from getting solid starts. This has kept players like Stoinis and Pooran from coming in with a good foundation around the 7th or 8th over. This has been a significant factor in our current position."
Delhi Capitals Captain Rishabh Pant: "Pooran gave us a hard time, showcasing his caliber. The total was good enough, but we started the season with high hopes, only to face injuries and ups and downs. We can't complain as a franchise; we're still in playoff contention. Some things are beyond control.
I missed the last game, and while I'm not saying I would have won it, it would have given us a better chance.The support from the country has been heartening, especially since I was playing after a year and a half. I loved every bit of it.
