Conceptualized by The Script Room and produced by Early Man Films, the film features MS Dhoni in a unique dual role of a grandfather and his grandson.
It depicts the cheeky story of the grandson glued to his phone screen during an exciting Tata IPL match, while the grandfather, who was also deeply engrossed in watching the same match on his phone, starts feeling discomfort in his chest.
The grandfather and grandson are still amusingly watching the game on their separate phones in the back of the ambulance van, and the medical attendant is now also spotted watching the game on his phone while the ambulance is being transported to the hospital.
The plot takes a turn when Grandfather burps and they all realize that the discomfort was only caused by gas. Then a six is hit in the match, due to which all three become happy and the film ends. This campaign will be run across TV, digital, social and print sectors.
Tata IPL 2024 will begin on Jio Cinema with the Southern Derby as MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings face Royal Challengers Bangalore on March 22, 2024.
