IPL Points Table 2024: Gujarat Titans won their first match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 after defeating Mumbai Indians (MI) by 6 runs at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Gujarat Titans moved to the fourth position in the latest IPL Points Table 2024 with two points whereas Mumbai Indians slipped to the 7th spot in the IPL Team Rankings with zero points and a poor net run rate of -0.300.
Gujarat Titans played fantastic cricket in their first match of TATA IPL 2024 against Mumbai Indians. Skipper Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan played impressive innings of 31 and 45 runs, respectively but other players also need to score runs. However, GT bowlers performed exceptionally in the death overs.
Mumbai Indians lost their first opening match of the season and however, they have played dominating cricket against Gujarat Titans but poor performance in the death overs led them to a defeat. The bowling department performed phenomenally in this match which led MI to strong position. Rohit Sharma played a wonderful inning of runs whereas Jasprit Bumrah took three wickets.
