IPL 2024 Points Table: Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 4 runs at Eden Gardens Cricket Stadium in the 3rd match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 and registered their first victory of TATA IPL 2024. After winning the match, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) moved to the third position in the latest IPL 2024 Points Table with two points whereas Sunrisers Hyderabad are at the 8th position in the IPL 2024 Points Table.
Kolkata Knight Riders played good cricket since the start of the match however there was a low phase in the end powerplay in the first inning but later on, KKR dominated Sunrisers Hyderabad. The Exceptional inning of Andre Russell led KKR to have a massive target of 209 runs in their first match of TATA IPL 2024.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) made some massive changes for the IPL 2024 as they finished at the bottom of the IPL 2023 Points Table. But, SRH failed to chase such a massive target and started the new season with a defeat. Skipper Pat Cummins, whom SRH bought at 20.5 crore didn’t perform well either with ball or captaincy.

KKR’s star batter Andre Russell played an exceptional inning of 64 runs in 25 balls in the match against SRH and went to the top position in the latest IPL 2024 Points Table. However, Sam Curran slips to the second position with 63 runs at a strike of 134.04 whereas Phil Salt is in third position with 54 runs at a strike rate of 135.00.
