IPL 2024 Points Table: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 10 wickets at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad in the match no.57 of TATA IPL 2024. It was one of the biggest victory of this tournament and with this, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) surpassed Chennai Super Kings in the latest IPL 2024 Points Table as they have now 14 points. SRH have played 12 matches so far and out of which, they won seven and lost five games hence SRH have 14 points and an NRR of +0.406.
Lucknow Super Giants batted first and they scored a decent 165 runs on the scoreboard on the batting-friendly wicket in Hyderabad. LSG Openers could have bated quite well but they got out early, Quinton de Kock scored 2 runs whereas Skipper KL Rahul scored 29 runs in 33 balls. However, Later on, Nicholas Pooran and Ayush Badoni made a crucial partnership of 99 runs for the fifth wicket.
The Youngster Ayush Badoni played exceptional cricket and scored 55 runs in 30 balls whereas Nicholas Pooran scored 48 runs in 26 balls. Both the players led Lucknow Super Giants to a decent total against the one of strongest batting units of TATA IPL 2024.
From SRH’s bowling department, Bhuvneshwar Kumar took two wickets whereas Skipper Pat Cummins got one wicket. But, The openers of Sunrisers Hyderabad, Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma played the one of best innings of this season and led SRH to the victory by 10 wickets.
Travis Head played a stormy inning of 89 runs in just 30 balls whereas Abhishek Sharma continued the firework from the other end and scored 75 runs in 38 balls. Both the players are playing fantastic cricket in this edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) and this might be one of the worst bowling performances by LSG in the IPL.

After the SRH vs LSG match, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) moved to 3rd position in the IPL 2024 Points Table with 14 points and increased its chance to get a ticket for the IPL 2024 Playoffs. However, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) are at 1st and 2nd spot in the IPL 2024 Points Table with 16 points each.
Now, Chennai Super Kings is present at fourth position in the latest IPL 2024 Points Table with 12 points whereas LSG and DC are highly dependent on CSK to get in the Top 4.
