IPL 2024: Orange Cap Winners in Indian Premier League 16th edition

IPL 2024: The excitement of the Indian Premier League 2023 was very great, in which the Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led team Chennai Super Kings (CSK) registered an extraordinary victory for the fifth time. But Gujarat batting superstar Shubman Gill, who scored three centuries with the bat and scored 890 runs in 17 innings, was awarded the Orange Cap and was also named the Most Valuable Player of IPL 2023.

After 14 matches, Faf du Plessis finished second with 730 runs. The other standout of the tournament was CSK’s Devon Conway, who scored 47 off 25 balls in the final match, surpassing others on the Orange Cap leaderboard to reach the third position with 672 runs in 16 matches.

Orange cap holders for 2023. Shubhman Gill has 890 runs in his name in 17 innings. South African professional cricketer and former captain and RCB captain Faf du Plessis is in second place and has scored 730 runs in just 14 innings with an amazing strike rate of 153.68 and an astonishing average of 56.15.

Chennai Super Kings batsman Devon Conway has secured the third position with 672 runs in 16 matches, thanks to his better strike rate. Virat Kohli, who scored a brilliant century against GT, is in fourth place with 639 runs.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, who scored a half-century on Friday, is at fifth position with 625 runs in 14 matches. In the race for Orange Cap, Suryakumar Yadav is at sixth place with 605 runs in 16 matches and Ruturaj Gaikwad is at second place with 564 runs. At eighth place in the list is David Warner, who has scored 516 runs in 14 innings.
