IPL 2024: The era of successful captain Rohit Sharma of Mumbai Indians, the most popular T20 league in cricket tournaments, and the most successful team of the Indian Premier League, has come to an end.
Rohit Sharma, who has won the title 5 times in 11 seasons under the captaincy of Mumbai Indians, one of the best teams in IPL, has been removed from the captaincy.
Star all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who was traded from Gujarat Titans, has been made the new captain of the team. Hardik Pandya will now be seen leading the charge for Mumbai Indians in next year’s IPL season.

In the last two seasons of the IPL, the young captain Hardik Pandya, who has made the new team of Gujarat Titans a champion once and a runner-up with his excellent performance in the last two seasons of IPL, has been included in their team by Mumbai Indians by trading him for Rs 15 crore from Gujarat under the trading window.
Since then there has been speculation about making Hardik Pandya the captain. It was also claimed in many reports that Mumbai has included Hardik in its team only to make him the captain.
Ultimately, these claims were proved true on Friday and Hardik Pandya handed over the command of Mumbai Indians and replaced Rohit Sharma as the captain.
