IPL 2023: LSG Won by 56 runs against PBKS and made history by scoring the second-highest total in an inning in the IPL. Marcus Stoinis played a phenomenal inning, scored 72 runs, and took one wicket.

Naveen-ul-Haq took three wickets whereas Yash Thakur took four wickets each and led LSG won the match. For PBKS, Atharva Taide, a young Player, played well and knocked 66 runs, whereas Sikandar Raza scored 36 runs, and Kagiso Rabada took two wickets.

PBKS tries to chase a massive target but fails:

In the Second, PBKS batters came to bat with the mindset to chase such a massive target of 258 runs, and It was pretty obvious that it would not be chased. Shikhar came after a long time but got out in the first over of the Inning.

Atharva Taide And Sikandar Raza, Both made a crucial partnership of 78 runs, but it wasn’t enough to chase this target, and Sikandar Raza got out and scored 36 runs, whereas Atharva played fantastic cricket and knocked 66 runs with two sixes and eigth fours.

Ravi Bishnoi has bowled well and took two crucial wickets for PBKS. Naveen-ul-Haq thas taken 3 wickets whereas Yash Thakur took four wickets and bowled at en economy rate of 9.65. Marcus Stoinis not only performed but also with the bowl as he took the wicket of Shikhar Dhawan led LSG won this match.

Second-highest Scored in IPL history:

In the first Inning, LSG showed another level of cricket as they knocked out runs in 20 overs, which is the second-highest score in the IPL History. Kyle Mayer gave an excellent start to the team, and LSG scored 72 runs in the powerplay.

Kyle knocked 54 runs with a strike rate of 225.00 and hits four sixes and seven fours. Ayush Badoni and Marcus Stoinis made a blasting partnership of 91 runs and shifted the game’s momentum. Both batters hit boundaries in the middle overs with a reasonable strike rate.

Ayush played a good inning and scored 43 runs in 24 balls, whereas Marcus Stionis crushed PBKS bowlers by hitting shots over the boundaries, and he made 72 runs with five sixes and six fours. An excellent finishing inning came from Nicholas Pooran, who fired runs in the last few overs with a strike rate of 236.84 and scored 45 runs.

Today, LSG batters were a nightmare for PBKs bowlers, and they bombarded the runs in the first Inning. Kagiso Rabada, a leading PBKS bowler, has taken two wickets but completed his half-century of runs given in his four overs spell.

Arshdeep Singh took only one wicket and bowled at a high economy rate of 13.50. Sam Curran and Liam Livingstone also took one wicket each, and both bowlers still need to complete their spells and give so many runs.
