With that being said, BCCI secretary Jay Shah has confirmed that an India VS Pakistan game will take place during the 50-over Asia Cup in 2023. India VS Pakistan: Asia Cup 2023 Game:
The ACC (Asian Cricket Council) announced its schedule for this calendar year. The Asia Cup 2023 was also announced but the venue and the exact schedule haven’t been announced. The reason for not announcing the venue is the political rift between India and Pakistan which are the powerhouses of cricket in Asia.
The Asia Cup 2023 hosting bid was awarded to Pakistan but the BCCI is a bit skeptical about sending its team to the country because of the unfortunate incident which happened with the Sri Lankan team in 2009. But an India VS Pakistan ODI will take place in 2023, that is more than certain.
On the other hand, former PCB chief Ramiz Raja had claimed that if the BCCI doesn’t permit its players to play in Pakistan, it will lead to the Pakistan Cricket Board boycotting the ODI World Cup 2023 which is slated to be held in India.

The BCCI secretary and ACC president Jay Shah said that our schedule “signals our unparalleled efforts and passion to take this game to new heights. With cricketers across countries gearing up for spectacular performances, it promises to be a good time for cricket.” 145 exciting games of ODI cricket and T20I await us. And all of these will be played in a two-year span. 75 games will be played in 2023 and 70 games will be played in 2024.
