IND vs AUS 2023: BCCI announces a strong 15-Members Squad for T20I series against Australia: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the Team India squad for the T20I series against World Cup 2023 Winner Australia, which is scheduled from 23 November to 3 December.
Suryakumar Yadav is going to lead the Indian side in this five-match T20I series as Rohit Sharma is given a rest after the high-intensity World Cup campaign. Currently, Hardik Pandya is recovering from the injury, and he is also not in the squad. It will be a good opportunity for Surya to show his skills and make his position regular in the team after having a poor performance in the World Cup.
Hardik was injured during the league stage match against Bangladesh at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune in the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023. Hardik Pandya was Captaining Team India in the absence of Rohit Sharma, and he is expected to be the new regular captain of the Indian Team in the T20I cricket.
VVS Laxman will be the head coach of the Indian Team in this T20I series against Australia. He was also a part of the Indian Team in the Asian Games and did a great job there by winning gold in cricket. Laxman is a former Indian batsman who is known for his impressive batting style and aggressive brand of cricket.
