The Indian Team won the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan by 3-0.
India batted first in the 3rd T20I game and scored 212 runs with the loss of four wickets in 20 overs. At the Starting of the first inning, the Indian Team lost four wickets in just 22 runs but after this, Skipper Rohit Sharma and Rinku Singh made a crucial partnership of 190 runs for the fifth wicket and led the Indian Team to a massive score of 212 runs.
After getting out on duck in the first two games in this series, Skipper Rohit Sharma knocked his 5th T20I century. He scored 121 runs in 69 balls with 11 fours and 8 sixes at a strike rate of 175.36 whereas Rinku Singh scored 69 runs in 39 balls at a strike rate of 176.92. Both the Batters single-handedly dominated Afghanistan and saved the Indian team from collapsing.
From the Afghanistan Bowling Department, Fareed Ahmed took three wickets and Azmatullah Omarzai took one wicket in the 3rd T20I game. Afghanistan batted well in the second inning and tied the game as they scored 212 runs in 20 overs. Gulbadin Naib played another fantastic knock in this series as scored 55 runs in 23 balls whereas Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran scored 50 runs each.
Indian Bowlers performed poorly in the 3rd T20I game against Afghanistan at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Washington Sundar took three wickets whereas Avesh Khan and Kuldeep Yadav took one wicket each.
