IND vs AUS: India will be entering the Sydney test with the hope of continuing their chances in the WTC, as India is currently in a scenario where they can’t afford to lose the only test match left for them in this WTC.

Several doubts are posed over whether Rohit Sharma should remain in the Indian batting order; however, no indications of a snub have been made by the team management or the Indian skipper himself.

India will also look to retain their all-rounder deck, as the in-form Nitish Kumar Reddy, Washington Sundar, and veteran Ravindra Jadeja are expected to be included in the playing 11, as many stars have indicated that experienced Indian all-rounders should be roped in to fancy some chances of India at Sydney, especially with the SCG track being the only track with some help for spinners.

Also, there has been speculation over the third-choice pacer for the Indian team, alongside Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj, as Akash Deep, who played at the Gabba and the MCG test, has faced a back spasm, which rules him out of the decisive test at Sydney.

Openers: Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal

Legendary Indian batter Rohit Sharma might be seen at the top of the order for the final time alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal, the young inform opener for India.

Middle-Order Batters: Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, and KL Rahul

The middle order might experience a huge change, as Shubman Gill, who was left out of the 11 last time around, should be brought in, and likely Pant, who has repeatedly disappointed the management with his irresponsible shot selection and lack of composure. While veterans Virat and Rahul have shown some consolidation in the middle order.

All-Rounders: Nitish Kumar Reddy, Washington Sundar, and Ravindra Jadeja

Indian all-rounder NK Reddy is obvious to retain his place in the 11 after his heroic hundred at the MCG, while Ravindra Jadeja is the most veteran and consistent all-rounder in the Indian lineup in the final test of the series, as Sundar, who batted quite well at MCG, might get to roll his hands more with the ball at SCG.

Bowlers: Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj, and Prasidh Krishna

The Indian side will have a new pace trio while retaining the likes of Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj for the Sydney test as well, while Prasidh Krishna, the lanky fast bowler, might be seen drafted into the 11, replacing injured Akash Deep.
