Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. This defeat will not impact India as they already qualified for the Finals.

Bangladesh batted first and they scored 265 runs in 50 overs, Shakib Al Hasan and Towhid Hridoy were the leading run scorers for their team as they scored 80 and 54 runs, respectively. From the Indian Side, Shardul Thakur took three wickets and Mohd. Shami got two wickets as well.

In the Second Inning, Team India came to chase the target but they couldn’t have a good start as They lost two wickets in the powerplay. Shubman Gill played an exceptional inning and scored 121 runs in 133 balls with eight fours and five sixes whereas In the End, Axar Patel also played a impactful inning of 42 runs.

India failed to chase the target of 266 runs and got all out by scoring 259 runs hence losing the match by 6 runs against Bangladesh.
