IPL 2024 Points Table: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) won the match against Gujarat Titans (GT) by 4 wickets in the match no. 52 of TATA IPL 2024 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. RCB played dominating cricket against Gujarat Titans and with this, they won their 4th game of the tournament and moved to the 7th position in the latest IPL 2024 Points Table with 8 points. RCB have played 11 matches so far and out of which, they won four games hence RCB have a decent net run rate of -0.049.
Gujarat Titans (GT) have played phenomenal cricket in the last two editions of the Indian Premier League (IPL) but now, they are struggling after Hardik Pandya moves to Mumbai Indians in the TATA IPL 2024. GT batted first and they scored 147 runs on the scoreboard on the batting heaven wickets of M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
GT’s top-order collapsed against RCB’s pace attack but the middle-order batters Shahrukh Khan, Rahul Tewatia and David Miller played quite well as they scored 37, 35 and 30 runs, respectively. Therefore, the Gujarat Titans were able to make 147 runs on the scoreboard. From RCB’s bowling department, Mohd. Siraj, Yash Dayal and Vyshak Vijay Kumar took wickets each.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) had an excellent start in the match as both the openers Skipper Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli gave an aggressive start to the teams. Faf was in a different mood in this match as he scored 64 runs in just 23 balls whereas Virat Kohli too played fantastic cricket and scored 42 runs in 27 balls.
However, GT Pacer Joshua Little took back-to-back four wickets after the powerplay and led GT back into the game but the runs on the scoreboard were very less therefore RCB finisher Dinesh Karthik and Swapnil Singh finished the game in just 13.4 overs. karthik scored 21 runs whereas Swapnil scored 15 runs and From GT’s bowling unit, Joshua took four wickets whereas Noor Ahmed got two wickets in the game.

As of now, RCB overtook MI in the IPL 2204 Points Table as they have eight points whereas Rajasthan Royals (RR) are still at the top position in the IPL 2024 Points Table with 16 points. Gujarat Titans retain their 9th spot as they have eight points and a poor net run rate of -1.320 but they are still not eliminated from the tournament.
