From Anirban Lahiri to Shubhankar Sharma, India is also trying its best to make great golfers for the global stage. The golf courses, the golf clubs, and the other associated attributes are really expensive and to afford them constantly is a big task. 5) Shubhankar Sharma: – 

Shubhankar Sharma is a young Indian golfer who has made his mark on the global stage. This 25-year-old Bhopali is the face of Jhansi. He recorded his first international tour win Joburg Open in the year 2017. He turned Professional in 2013 and played his first international tour in 2014. Sharma also won the Maybank Championship in the year 2018. He was conferred with the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year award in 2018 as well. 

4) Arjun Atwal: – 

You list down the best of Indian Golfers and Arjun Atwal cuts. This Kolkata boy who was born in Asansol has made a name in the international circuit. He turned professional in the year 1995 and since then has won a total of 13 Professional Championships. Atwal has 1 win on the PGA tour while 3 on the European Tours. He also claimed the Asian Tour Order of Merit in the year 2003. The 48-year-old also happens to be the first Indian golfer to win 1 million USD at the Championships.

Jyoti Randhawa is a must on this list. Randhawa is a tall, dark handsome hunk who dominated the Indian golfing circuit between 1999 to 2008. Jyoti is a Delhi boy and has featured in the list of top 100 golfers in the world several times between 2004 to 2009. His highest international ranking is 70! He also has held an immense 23 professional titles. He burst on the scene by winning the Hero Honda Masters twice in two years in 1998 and 1999. 

2) Jeev Milkha Singh: – 

Jeev Milkha Singh was an obvious name on this list. The son of the legendary Milkha Singh has earned an equally reputed name for himself. He has mastered the art with the club in his hand. Jeev Milkha was the representative of India for several events over the years. He turned Professional in the year 1993 and since then has been around.  He got the Arjuna Award in the year 1999 and Padma Shri in the year 2007. Singh has successfully represented India in the PGA Tour, US Open European Championships and has won 21 major events. 

1) Anirban Lahiri: – 

Anirban Lahiri is the best golfer in India. The 34-year-old from Pune has been the best since he turned pro in the year 2007. He also has won 21 major titles in total and still has a long career ahead. His strokes are like a piece of art. His concentration and judgment give him an added advantage.
