The Brazilians are just known for two things. Their football and their carnivals. This fun-loving country knows how to live to the fullest. The Brazil Football team however does look very formidable and looks like a good contender to win the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022. The Brazilian team has several international superstars and many experienced players as well. Their star player Neymar Jr. Becomes different gravy while playing for his national team. Here is an in-depth look at this squad and the other details:

Brazil Expected Squad for the FIFA World Cup 2022:

  1. Neymar Jr (Forward)
  1. Vinicus Jr (Forward)
  1. Roberto Firminio (Forward)
  1. Gabriel Jesus (Forward)
  1. Rodrygo (Forward)
  1. Richarlison (Forward)
  1. Casemiro (Midfielder)
  1. Phillipe Coutinho (Midfielder)
  1. Lucas Paqueta (Midfielder)
  1. Bruno Guimaraes (Midfielder)
  1. Fred (Midfielder)
  1. Dani Alves (Defender)
  1. Eder Militao (Defender)
  1. Alex Telles(Defender)
  1. Alex Sandro (Defender)
  1. Felipe (Defender)
  1. Allison Becker (Goalkeeper)
  1. Ederson

The biggest strength of the Brazilian national team is its elite strike force. The Brazilians have a plethora of strikers. The team is filled with the top strikers. They have Firminio, Gabriel Jesus, and young sensation Vinicius Jr. It will be great to see how the Brazilian team makes effective use of these strikers. The formation of the team will also be key in this. They will most probably play with 2 players as the optimum strike force and will have 4 midfielders.

There is an evident weakness at the back. Earlier the Brazilian defense had the best players in the game. They were filled with big names. David Luiz, Marcelo, Dani Alves, Filipe Luis, Thiago SIlva and what not! But this time around the burden will fall on Dani Alves and Danilo who are relatively experienced.

Opportunities for the Brazil National team:

The opportunities are many with many fresh faces appearing. One opportunity is also for Casemiro who is relatively senior but hasn’t made a great impression with the national team. He will be the backbone of the Brazilian midfield. The other opportunity is for Vinicius Jr. Vini is in a similar stage at which Mbappe was back in 2018. If Vini wins the World Cup for Brazil, his footballing career will be touching new heights.

Threats for the Brazil National Team:

Not many threats but the Brazilians cannot hold the ball with them when they are in the lead. When in lead, the best strategy is to play freely but also to hold the ball to ourselves. Brazil generally goofs up in such situations. Their nature is to play freely but at the same time, they need to know how to hold the game.
