The Pro Kabaddi League is underway. There are many new players in the Pro Kabaddi League 2022. There are also several players who were once big names but have now moved down the ranks. The sport is about players having their “phase of shine” and also having their “phase of decline.” With that being said, the Pro Kabaddi League has also seen evergreen players like Anna Cheralathan and Manjeet Chillar, who were in their prime for all the time at which they played. Here is a look at the top 5 past raiders:

1) Siddharth Desai is a part of the Pro Kabaddi League 2022:

Siddhart Bahubali Desai, as Sunil Taneja likes to address him is a part of Pro Kabaddi League 2022. He will be playing for the Telugu Titans. He has been part of the league since the 6th season. He rose to fame after Maharashtra won the National Kabaddi Championship with him and he shot to fame. His performances in the PKL were fire. He still happens to be the fastest to 200 points.

2) Shabeer Bapu was a part of the Pro Kabaddi League:

The first season of the PKL saw Shabbir rise to fame. So, he was a part of the deadly trio of Anup Kumar, Rishank Devadiga, and himself. All three ran riot among the defenders. They made the defenders dance to their tunes and led U Mumba to the finals. Shabeer was a part of the PKL till season 7. From then on, he struggled to find buyers for his skill and went a downward spiral. But he is a true legend of the PKL. Players like him helped the league establish a brand.

3) Meraj Sheyk is a part of the Pro Kabaddi League 2022:

The first Iranian who ruled the league was Meraj Sheyk. Meraj is a true champion. He was associated with the Telugu Titans. He started his journey with them but a few years back he moved to Dabang Delhi. He is a true all-rounder, to say the least. Meraj was the first player on the mat who used pace to threaten the defenders.

4) Rohit Kumar:

Rohit Kumar is a name that only true Pro Kabaddi League fans remember. He was a rage in the very first season. The first season just had two big names as raiders, Rahul Chaudhari and Rohit Kumar. But as years passed Rohit also moved the downward spiral. He played under the shadow of Ajay Thakur. Rohit’s fall was such that he went unsold for a season. But this time around, the champion has made a comeback. In PKL season 9, he will be seen playing for the Telugu Titans.

5) Rishank Devadiga:

Rishank Devadiga has taken a break from Kabaddi. He has joined the Star TV Network’s broadcasting team. But that sounds too good for a handsome young man, doesn’t it? Rishank has done it all. He has been a champion with U-Mumba. He has also been a part of the Indian team that won the Kabaddi Title. So, it is fair to say that this man is also a legend of Indian Kabaddi. He led the UP Yoddhas too. He has been there and done it all.
