As a result, Asian neighbors Pakistan and India lead the standings, firmly holding on to the top two spots after an unbeaten start to the WTC25.

After a clean sweep against Sri Lanka, Pakistan has made a brilliant start to the 2023–25 campaign with a 100-point percentage. Following a hard-fought first Test, Babar Azam’s side overwhelmed the hosts with an innings victory in the second Test.

The closest rival is India, who have one win and one match tied after the series against the West Indies. India won the First Test by an innings, but the weather ruined their chances of a clean sweep in the Second Test, which ended in a draw.
