World Cup 2023: BCCI announced Schedule of Warm-Up Matches of ICC ODI World Cup 2023, Check The Full Details: BCCI announced the schedule, Fixtures and venues of Warm-up matches of the World Cup 2023. The 2023 ODI World Cup is scheduled in India from 5 October 2023 to 18 November 2023.
The Warm-up matches are scheduled from 29 September to 3 October 2023 at various venues in India. All qualified teams will play a total of 10 Warm-up matches; each team will play two warm-up matches.
India will play its warm-up matches against England and Netherlands on 30 September against England and on 3 October against the Netherlands.
Barsapara Cricket Stadium and Greenfield International Stadium are chosen to host all the warm-up matches of World Cup 2023. The first warm-up match is scheduled between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati, on 29 September 2023.
Similar to the World Cup 2019 Warm-up matches format, the warm-up fixtures for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 will be played in 50 overs format. Warm-up matches do not hold the status of One Day International matches due to 15 members participating in Warm-up matches.
