Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya held the innings together

Amidst the initial turmoil, Suryakumar Yadav held his ground. His blistering knock of 53 runs off 28 balls with the help of five fours and three sixes played a key role in getting India’s innings back on track.

Partnering with Hardik Pandya, who played a crucial knock of 32 runs off 24 balls, Yadav helped India post a competitive score of 181/8. Their partnership of 60 runs off 37 balls was crucial in stabilizing the innings after the initial setbacks.

Hardik Pandya’s contribution was equally crucial, showcasing his ability to revive the innings and then accelerate it.

Despite losing several wickets towards the end, including Hardik and Ravindra Jadeja, India managed to set a challenging target for Afghanistan.
