Sri Lanka vs India 1st T20I: After the successful completion of the three matches One Day International (ODI) series between India and Sri Lanka, which got settled on 2-1, the two teams will gear up for the as many games T20I series.
Sri Lanka made a good comeback to escape a complete whitewash in their own soil by winning the last ODI while India sealed the series in the second game itself.
India made a record six changes in the playing XI for the last ODI with five debutant players in Rahul Chahar, Sanju Samson, Nitish Rana, Krishnappa Gowtham and Chetan Sakariya.
Both the teams will now look forward to winning the T20I series and end the tour on a high.
A couple of changes on both sides are expected as we head to the T20I setup. India might hand debuts to some of their other players who have been waiting for their opportunity.
India, being more dominant, will go as the favourites to win the series however with a strong comeback in the last ODI, Sri Lankan players have also made a strong statement.
