Niroshan and Flower were tested positive under 48 hours of departure from England.

It is noteworthy that the India-Sri Lanka limited-overs series will get underway in less than a week’s time.

Both the teams are scheduled to play three One Day International matches along with three T20Is in the tour which starts on July 13.

All the Sri Lankan cricketers who have arrived from England are being tested regularly for covid.

To add more woes, three of Sri Lanka’s senior cricketers are facing serious charges after breaching the bubble in England.

As per the reports, Kusal Mendis, Danushka Gunathilaka and wicketkeeper Niroshan Dickwella spotted outside the bubble and have been suspended.
