IND vs SL 2021: The Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) on Monday announced new timings for India vs Sri Lanka limited-overs series, a day after the cricket board unveiled a revised schedule for the tour.
The timings of the matches have been pushed late by half an hour in the ODIs and by one hour in the T20Is.
The One Day International Matches (ODI) will begin at 3:00 PM instead of 2:30 PM which was the previous timing while the T20Is will commence at 8:00 PM.
Both the developments of the new schedule and timings were rolled out by the host cricket board after a couple of members of the island nations’ limited-overs squad tested positive for the virus.
According to the reports, data analyst GT Niroshan along with batting coach of Sri Lanka Cricket Grant Flower and one unnamed batsman had contracted the virus.

With these getting affected, the board contacted the BCCI and all the broadcasters and informed them about the new development.
The live telecast of all the white-ball matches between India and Sri Lanka will be shown in Sony SIX HD/SD, Sony TEN 3 HD/SD and Doordarshan.
As per the new schedule announced, the ODI series will kickstart on July 18th and the last two ODIs will be held on 20th and 23rd July. The three T20Is will be played on 25, 27 and 29 July.
All the matches will be played in R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.
