SLvsIND 3rd ODI: Following the triumph in the penultimate ODI, the team India will be looking to whitewash the island nation Sri Lanka in the third and last ODI match tomorrow in Columbo.
Team India yet another time showed why the bench strength is India’s supreme power as Deepak Chahar paved the way for India’s win after his heroics to snatch the win from the jaws of defeat.
Chahar, who was sent before Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the second ODI, played a match winnings knock of unbeaten 69 runs after clipping off two wickets in the first innings to seal the three-match ODI series.
Sri Lanka on the other hand had two brilliant opening partnerships, however, the middle order has consistently failed to continue the initial momentum provided by the openers. A strong performance will be required in order to terminate the whitewash in their own soil.
Although this will be a one-sided matchup once again with India being the favourite to win the match, however, a turnaround from Sri Lanka may add a twist to the done and dusted ODI series.
