SL vs PAK 2023: Pakistan, Sri Lanka start their ICC WTC 2023-25 campaign in Galle | ICC World Test Championship 2023-25: The ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 is the third edition of the Test cricket championship, which is managed by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

The Tournament started on June 16, 2023, with the start of the Ashes 2023 series, and it will end in June 2025, when the WTC 2025 final will be played at Lord’s.

Nine teams are participating in the WTC 2023-25 cycle, including Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and West Indies. All nine teams will be playing six series each, in which three are played at home, and three are away.

The points system for the WTC 2023-25 is as follows:

  • A winning match earns a team 12 points.
  •  A draw, then both teams will earn 4 points.
  •  A loss earns a team 0 points.
  •  A tie, then both teams earn 6 points.
