After Killer Jeans, Adidas became the official Kit Sponsor of the Indian Team. BCCI and Adidas signed a five years Contract to supply and Manufacture Team India Jerseys and Kits.
Adidas launched the New Indian Team Jersey for the Season 2023-24. Adidas India has revealed the Indian Team jersey for All format at Wankhede Stadium on June 1st.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Adidas signed a mega deal in May. In this Deal with BCCI, Adidas will manufacture and supply Cricket kits to the Indian Team Players, Coaches, and Staff for all Men’s and Women’s formats. Adidas will supply various products like Travel Clothes, Jerseys, Kits, Training equipment, and many more.
Team India Jersey ahead of WTC final 2023 and World Cup 2023:
The Jerseys are launched in an important year where Indian Men’s Team will play many ICC tournaments. India and Australia will play against Each other in the finals of the ICC World Test Championship 2023, Which is going to start on June 7th at Oval Cricket Ground.
Later In this Year, Indian will be Playing Asia Cup 2023 in September, and the Most Awaited Cricket Tournament, ICC ODI World Cup 2023, which will be played in October-November.
The Deal with Adidas is for five years, from 2023 to 2028, and After that, the Deal will be reinvented again. As per Media Reports, This Deal between BCCI and Adidas was approx. 350 Cr Rupees.
