Robin Uthappa made one of the best national comebacks in 2014. It was sheerly based on performance. He worked very hard under the guidance of Pravin Amre. In that IPL season, Uthappa won the orange cap and eventually led the Kolkata Knight Riders to win the trophy. He was also an integral part of the team. Gautam Gambhir made effective use of Uthappa as he made him bat up the order. One can never forget the crucial innings of Robin Uthappa in the game that featured a “ball-out” between India and Pakistan.
