PAK VS NZ 1st T20I: Pakistan won the 1st T20 international against New Zealand by 88 runs, all credit goes to Haris Rauf, who took a four-wicket haul, Saim Ayub and Fakhar Zaman both played well and scored 47 runs each.
In the first Inning, Matt Henry took the first T20I hat trick of his career. Benjamin Lister picked two wickets of Pakistan, and Adam Milne also picked two important wickets of Pakistan Openers.
This match made history as Matt Henry picked the first hat trick of his career and this was the first hat trick by any New Zealand player in Pakistan in a men’s T20I match. Milne shattered Pakistan’s top order batters(Mohd. Rizwan and Babar Azam).
Henry took hat trick but fails to stop middle order:
Pakistan Openers failed in the 1st T20I against NZ, Ayub and Fakhar played fantastic knock and help Pakistan to achieve a good total of 182 runs on board. Both had made a partnership of 79 runs for the 3rd wicket.
In the Last Few overs Of the First inning, Faheem Ashraf contributed 22 runs to Pakistan’s score. Matt Henry picked three wickets from the bowling side, Adam Milne picked two important wickets for Pakistan, Benjamin Lister picked two, and Ish Sodhi took one wicket.
New Zealand Batting Collapsed over PAK bowlers:
New Zealand Batsman surrendered in front of Pakistan’s bowling attack, and the New Zealand team did not cross the mark of 100 runs. They lose all their wickets in just 15 overs.
NZ Skipper Tom Latham and Mark Chapman are the only players, who has scored 20+ runs in this match. Mark Chapman knocked 35 runs with a trike rate of 125.92 . Chapman batted well and if he got support from other end then New Zealand might win this Match.
From Bowling Side, Haris Rauf picked four crucial wickets, Imad Wasim picked two wickets, and one wicket was picked by Shaheen Afridi, Zaman, Faheem, and Shadab Khan.
The player of the match goes to Haris Rauf for his excellent performance against New Zealand in the 1st T20I match in Lahore. Rauf picked up four wickets against New Zealand in 3.3 overs with an impressive Economy rate of 5.14.
