The Legends League Cricket is back with another edition this year. The league started to entertain the cricket community by making it possible to see their favorite retired cricket stars in a private cricket tournament. Players like Suresh Raina, Gautam Gambhir, Shahid Afridi, Shane Watson, Jacques Kallis, and many more will be a part of this cricket frenzy.
This league includes 3 squads. The World Giants, Indian Maharajas, and Asian Lions. The World Giants comprises all the players from across the globe except for the Asian players. The Asian Lions on the other hand have all Asian players, except Indian players. And the India Maharajas is a squad full of retired Indian players.

Gautam Gambhir will be the captain of the Indian Maharajas.
Gautam Gambhir will be the captain of the Indian Maharajas. He has been a former captain and vice-captain of the Indian cricket team. He has also led the Delhi Ranji Team at the far end of his career. One cannot forget that he is one of the greatest captains in the history of the TATA IPL. He has won two TATA IPLs with the Kolkata Knight Riders.
Aaron Finch will be Captain of the World Giants:
Aaron Finch, a player who has just retired from international cricket will be a part of the Legends League Cricket 2023. He will be leading the World Giants in this tournament. Aaron Finch has won a T20 World Cup under his leadership. For the past 2 years, he was the skipper of the Australian white-ball teams. With plenty of experience under his belt, he is more than able for this role.
Shahid Afridi will be the Captain of the Asian Lions:
“Lala”, as they call him, will be leading the Asian Lions. Shahid Afridi has a lot of captaincy experience. He served as the captain of the Pakistan national team from 2009 to 2011. Post that he was also an integral part of the PSL franchises and held the leader’s role in multiple franchises. Shahid Afridi is one of the most respected players internationally. Hence, he is an ideal option for that role.
