T20 World Cup 2024 Points Table: USA created history after defeating Pakistan in the match no.11 of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 at Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas. USA surpassed Team India and they are now at the top position in the Group A T20 World Cup 2024 Points Table with 4 points. It was a stunning start by co-host USA in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 and now, the chances are very high that the USA will get a ticket for the Super 8 round.
In the Super over game, USA batted first and they scored 18 runs with the loss of one wicket but Pakistan failed to chase the target as they made only 13 runs therefore USA beat Pakistan by 5 runs in the Super over. The Player of the match was Skipper Monank Patel who played a crucial knock of 50 runs for USA while on the target.
Scotland won the match against Namibia by 5 wickets in the match no.12 of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 and with this, they moved to the first position in the Group B T20 World Cup 2024 Points Table. However, Australia slips to the second position with 2 points and NRR of +1.950 but they have played only one game whereas Scotland has played two games so far.
Scotland played fantastic cricket against Namibia as they restricted them to 155 runs on the scoreboard in 20 overs. From the Namibia side, Gerhard Erasmus played a decent inning of 52 runs in 31 balls whereas Scottish bowlers Brad Wheal and Bradley Currie took three and two wickets, respectively.
In the second inning, Scotland easily chased the target of 156 runs in 18.3 overs with the loss of five wickets. Skipper Richie Berrington played a match-winning knock of 47 runs whereas Michael Leask finished the match with his impactful inning of 35 runs in just 17 balls.

After losing the match against the USA, Pakistan is in huge trouble as their chances to qualify for the Super 8 round in highly dependent on the India vs Pakistan match, which will be played on June 09 at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
Pakistan needs to defeat the Indian Team to remain in the race for the Super 8 round otherwise if they lose the match against India then Pakistan will be disqualified for the Super 8 round as the top 2 teams from each group will get tickets for the other round.
