The Lucknow Super Giants will be a cricket franchise that represents Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. They will play in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Founded in 2021, the team will play its home matches at the BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. The team is owned by RPSG Group who previously owned the Rising Pune Supergiant franchise between 2016 and 2017.

The IPL 2022 new team launched the franchise, the name Lucknow Super Giants was chosen in January 2022. Ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction, the franchise sign KL Rahul as their captain, making him the joint highest paid player in the league. The franchise also purchased Marcus Stoinis and Ravi Bishnoi.
