TATA IPL 2023: Mumbai Indians Strong playing XI for IPL 16th Edition.: In the IPL 2023, the Mumbai Indians (MI) will be led by India’s all-format captain Rohit Sharma. Since Jasprit Bumrah was ruled out for the entire season, MI suffered a severe setback before the IPL. In the IPL 2023, Jofra Archer of England will be in charge of MI’s pace attack.

Before the Indian Premier League season in 2022 began, Hardik Pandya’s trophy-laden tenure with the Mumbai Indians (MI) came to an end (IPL).

In order to manage the Gujarat Titans (GT) team in the IPL 2022, the white-ball maverick parted ways with Rohit Sharma and company. The hometown hero not only passed the captaincy exam but also guided the IPL’s rookie Gujarat Titans to victory in the 2022 season of the lucrative league.

As Rohit’s Mumbai Indians finished 10th in the 10-team event last season, Pandya’s IPL career struck rock bottom while Rohit reached new heights. Kieron Pollard, a great all-rounder for the West Indies, announced his retirement from IPL cricket prior to the commencement of the current season.

The addition of Tim David and Cameron Green, though, allowed MI to revamp their all-star team after losing Pandya and Pollard. For Mumbai Indians, David and Green will have to step into the significant shoes left by Pollard and Pandya.

David from Australia was acquired by the Mumbai Indians for INR 8.25 crore at the IPL 2022 auction. When Green joined the Mumbai Indians for a staggering INR 17.50 crore in the IPL 2023 auction, the record-breaking champions opted to blow the bank. In the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, all-rounder Green just scored his first century against India.

For Australia, the outstanding all-arounder has participated in 15 ODIs and 8 T20 Internationals.

Mumbai Paltan’s batting attack in the IPL 2023 will be led by India’s all-format skipper Rohit. MI’s elite batting squad will also include teenagers Tilak Varma and Dewald Brevis in addition to Indian opener Ishan Kishan and top-ranked T20I batsman Suryakumar Yadav. The loss of pace ace Jasprit Bumrah, who was expected to play for MI in the IPL 2023, dealt MI a severe setback. In the IPL 2023, Jofra Archer of England will be in charge of MI’s pace attack.
