TATA IPL 2023: Chennai super Kings Strong playing XI for IPL 16th Edition: In the first game of the Indian Premier League 2023, the four-time champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will take on the reigning champion Gujarat Titans.
Ben Stokes and other players will soon join MS Dhoni, 41, who began training with the CSK team earlier this month in preparation for the 2017 campaign. The second-most successful side in the illustrious T20 league hopes to win the title for the first time since 2021 after a forgettable season last year.
CSK’s 2022 campaign got off to an exciting start when Ravindra Jadeja assumed the captaincy following Dhoni’s decision to hand the reins over.
The top all-arounder resigned from the role as a result of the team’s poor first-half of the season results, though. The Chennai-based team finished its season with a few of victories but finished last in the standings.
