IPL 2023: LSG won by 10 runs, Avesh Khan bowled good spell especially in the last over where he took two wickets. Marcus Stoinis also bowled Well took two important Wickets. Kyle Mayers has scored 39 runs whereas Nicholas Pooran knocked 29 runs.
Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Played well and scored runs, respectively. Ravichandran Ashwin took two wickets.
Another Important Partnership By Yashasvi and Buttler:
In the Second Inning, Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal made another excellent partnership of 87 runs, their third 50+ runs partnership of this season. Yashasvi was kept hitting on Boundaries, whereas Jos Buttler took some time and tried to build a good partnership.
Yashasvi scored runs with two sixes and four fours, and Jos Buttler knocked 40 runs with a strike rate of 97.56. Devdutt Padikkal played a small inning and got out in the 19th over by scoring 26 runs.
Avesh and Stoinis lead LSG bowling Attack hence LSG won:
LSG bowlers gave lots of runs in the powerplay, but in the last few overs, they bowled well. Avesh Khan Took three Wickets, and Marcus Stionis took two crucial wickets in the middle overs. Naveen-ul-Haq bowled good spells at an economy rate of 4.75. But fails to take a wicket.
LSG’s openers came a long way:
In the First Inning, Kl Rahul and Kyle Mayers made a good partnership of 82 runs but were playing slow in the powerplay. RR’s players dropped two catches of Kl Rahul.
Rahul got out in the 11th over by scoring 39 runs. Kyle Mayers struggled at the start of the inning, but after it, he played some excellent shots and scored 51 runs with a strike rate of 121.43.
Nicholas Pooran and Marcus Stoinis tried to finish the inning but lost their wicket by scoring 21 and 29 runs, respectively.
Good Bowling By RR Bowlers:
RR Bowlers confused LSG batters as they were bowling good bowls with perfect line and length. Ravichandran Ashwin has taken two wickets at a reasonable economy rate of 5.75. Trent Boult, Jason Holder, and Sandeep Sharma has taken one wicket each.
